New integrated control system for Flashlink and VikinX systems

Nevion is proud to introduce the next-generation Multicon control system based on a new open and distributed architecture. Multicon is tightly integrated with GYDA for control of Flashlink parameters, and offers a range of important improvements for control of VikinX routers.

Multicon enables you to control third-party equipment using software plugins, which makes it one of the industry’s most flexible integrated control systems. The product comes with an SDK that will be made available to selected partners.

The new Multicon family consists of the following products:

Multicon GYDA enables you to control Flashlink parameters like video format conversion and audio embedding from VikinX Modular control panels. The product also comes with support for VikinX Sublime/Compact routers that enables you to control Flashlink cards and VikinX routers from the same control panel.

Multicon VX-SLC enables you to control your entire VikinX Sublime/Compact router infrastructure over TCP/IP from either VikinX Modular or Sublime control panels. The product replaces the existing ETH-CON product.

Multicon VX-MOD enables you to control your VikinX Modular router and also comes with support for VikinX Sublime/Compact routers. It also includes support for the Pro-Bel protocol commonly used for integration
with automation systems. The product replaces the existing Syscon product.
