FCS 1000

FCS1000 is a high-density video transport test and monitoring system that is used to ensure that services are delivered with the right Quality-of-Service (QoS) 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The product monitors DVB-ASI and SDI signals according to relevant DVB and SMPTE recommendations.

Together with Nevion DataMiner NMS, FCS1000 can create a very powerful service and SLA monitoring solution. DataMiner allows you to model a service consisting of all the line cards that implement the service, but with FCS1000 you can also add measurements to the service. This means that if one of the line cards fails, or the FCS1000 measurement reports errors, there
will be an alarm for the service.
